Finally, the holiday gifts have arrived! So has the celebration for area children in Pignon, Haiti. Two American churches, Grace Immanuel Bible Church of Jupiter, FL and Meadow Springs Community Church of Shakopee, MN had sent gifts since early December 2007. But because of the port strike and ongoing reforms going on in with the customs officials, they FINALLY were available to distribute in March, just in time for Easter weekend. So rather than Christmas holiday celebration, it became the Easter gifts instead. A hot meal and gifts were given out to over 350 children on March 22, 2008. http://www.hosean.org
